Creating Calm

When we intentionally create calmness first thing in the morning, we can then draw upon that peaceful state to help carry us through the rest of the day. Stress and anxiety can fade.

Whether it’s mindful relaxing yoga, going outside and listening to the music of the morning birds, reading inspirational thoughts or savoring a steaming cup of chai, the way we begin our day can have a huge impact on our inner peace.

Experiment with eliminating any forms of media, social media or news at the start of the morning and use this precious time to gift yourself with peace, even if you need to wake up a little extra early to do so.

Once you notice the effects of your effort, you might consider making this a daily practice. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
